Chop-Shop

Nose red, eyes glistening,

even after the captain’s stern warning,

the detective wasn’t listening,

his crudeness people just couldn’t take,

that detective made the mistake,

as he walked into the autopsy room

wishing all the ghouls in the chop shop

a fine good morning,

that only sparked a verbal

and written warning,

but he just criticized their role,

and the captain said

If continued on that path,

he would do so

with a new and larger asshole,

and it would comprise

of his boot size,

with nostrils flared,

red eyes glared,

they were not ghouls, he declared,

they were doctors,

when you feel like speaking, stop,

and it’s not a chop shop,

it was the office of the

Chief Medical Examiner,

they expect, respect,

get it through your head,

those doctors in that chop shop

speak for the dead...
